ConocoPhillips is Alaskas largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.2 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2022. The company produced an average of 200 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2022. ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North Americas largest legacy conventional oil fields, both located on Alaskas North Slope: Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, ConocoPhillips operates several fields on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.Western North Slope Overview

The Financial Analyst, WNS Opex position is part of the Alaska Western North Slope (WNS) team and plays a critical role in delivering key financial information to the asset and key support stakeholders. This role provides budget forecasting, and Long-Range Plan financial support as well as making monthly accruals, and providing performance analysis and reporting.Your responsibilities may include:

• Provides timely and accurate analysis of monthly expenditures, ensuring financial/accounting records are accurate and in accordance with company policy
• Field travel to the Alpine facility to provide financial support for field personnel in budget preparation and reviewing monthly operations results (approximately 3-4 trips per year).
• Able to build key relationships with Slope and Town based staff
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks that are time sensitive and multifaceted
• Provide routine and ad-hoc financial reporting to facilitate understanding of results in achieving the teams goals and strategies
• Participate in the preparation of the long-range plan, operating budget and latest estimates, providing timely forecast updates for management awareness and decision-making
• Develop and implement policies and procedures as necessary for operations, with an emphasis on internal controls
• Ensure all monthly, quarterly and annual corporate reporting requirements are fulfilled
• Liaise with JV partners, auditors, and customers regarding financial activities of the entities as necessary
• Proactively interface with other finance groups, such as Financial Services and Internal/External Reporting for problem resolution and consistency

Basic/Required:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
• Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or foreign equivalent
• Intermediate level knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, or other related tasks

Preferred:

• 1+ years system experience with SAP, BW, Essbase, Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and PowerBI
• 1+ years experience with budgeting, financial reporting and related tasks
• Advanced communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with and influence others, both internal (financial, technical, operational, management) and external (JV partners)
• Continuous improvement focused
• Demonstrated self-starter who can work independently with high standards of performance
• Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
