SERVPRO of North Central Austin is hiring a Fire Crew Chief.

We are looking for a SKILLED Crew Chief that already knows how to do pack outs, contents cleaning, and structure cleaning.

Duties may include:

• Pack out, boxing and inventory
• Cleaning contents and belongings
• Cleaning building structures

As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO\xc2\xae brand, the Fire Crew Chief demonstrates the company\xe2\x80\x99s Here to Help\xc2\xae commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
• Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

Position Requirements

• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, and restoration
• IICRC certification a plus, not required

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
