Role Overview

The Fire Technician provides fire alarm system installation, which requires low voltage wiring, testing and troubleshooting on the systems, and compliance with local codes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install and wire fire alarm system per local building and fire code Read, understand, and follow blueprints Conduct a proper test and inspection Troubleshoot and service a fire alarm system Communicate expectations with customers Out-of-town travel/stay on occasion for this position. (Per diem and hotel is provided as needed)

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma or GED 1-2 years of fire alarm experience and low voltage experience preferred but not required Valid Driver's License and safe driving record Must pass a background check and drug test Ability to work 80% of the time in the field

The Alert Alarm Benefit:

Compensation starts at $20 to $33+ per hour DOE and ICC and/or NICET certifications.
