Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer\'s return visit. Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct yourself in a professional manner, displaying a positive attitude, speaking highly of the company in the presence of customers or otheremployees.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Understand and adheres to shrink guidelines as relates to the Floral Dept. operations.
• Prepare corsages and flower arrangements as well as setting up displays and fixtures.
• Must be able to identify all varieties of foliage, blooms and fresh cut flowers.
• Inspect and maintain all the plants in the Floral Shop on daily basis. This includes watering, trimming, cleaning and other care as required.
• Fill and display balloons using helium gas bottles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Bring plants from the stock room; loading them onto carts which are pushed to the floral area; and placing them in the proper display areas.
• Help prepare for and/or conduct inventory including proper accounting of product and supplies.
• Perform price checks which require knowing the locations of all items.
• Sweep and/or mop.
• Take trash to the dumpster.
• Operate box baler (if at least 18 years old).
• Operate a cash register and transact sales properly.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
