Job Description

We are a custom floral and plant design company

servicing restaurants and hotels in Chicago. We are seeking a delivery driver/utility team member to handle floral swaps to various regular clients on a repeating schedule. This job requires:

Clean driving record

and comfort navigating a large van through city alleys and loading docks

Physical strength

to lift oversized floral arrangements/plants up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Customer service skills

needed to interact with high-end hotel and restaurant staff in a pleasant manner

Familiarity and comfort with phone-based technology,

specifically Basecamp, our app-based client database, and Outlook email via a smart phone (a phone stipend or company-issued phone will be provided)

Willingness to get dirty

, as hand-washing vases and floral buckets, handling trash and sweeping up the floral design studio account for approximately one-third of the job

Availability Wednesday through Friday 7am-3pm

is a requirement of the part-time position, but hours could also be expanded to Mondays and Tuesdays during spring and summer if candidate has experience, aptitude and desire to be a part of our seasonal landscaping crew on days when floral duties are not needed.
We provide the van, uniform, all supplies and, of course, paid training. We offer health insurance stipends and employer-matched retirement funding assistance for full-time employees (30hrs a week or more).
