Job Description

Looking for ONE person to fill our Friday - Monday host/expo position. Must be able to work all those shifts 8-2:30 or 3pm, not just one or two. Pay is 11.40/hr plus tips, which usually range from $6-15/hr depending on which role you are scheduled for that day. Responsibilities: - Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables
- Provide menus and assist guests with any questions or concerns
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure smooth guest seating and service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed Skills: - Strong guest services skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent hospitality skills, including a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations and procedures
- Proficient in phone etiquette and taking reservations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
