Job Summary: Shepherds Hollow Golf Club is seeking an energetic and organized Food & Beverage Supervisor! In this role communication, attention to detail, anticipation and problem solving are vital. The Food and Beverage Supervisor reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director and will supervise several different types of events, including: weddings, showers, corporate events, golf outings, and more!
This is a great opportunity for a experienced server / bartender who is looking to make the transition to management.
Wage: $15 - $30 per hour + tips Working Hour Requirements:
- Full time
- ~40-50 hours per week
- Requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work
- Lead and manage the F&B team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
- Follow SHGC policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
- Assist in completing departmental administrative duties, i.e. scheduling, payroll, etc.
- Execute assigned banquet events, including overseeing setup, service, and cleanup
- Assist in training new staff members
- Facility cleanliness and equipment maintenance of both the clubhouse and banquet kitchens.
- Close building on assigned days
- Ensure all local, state and federal food and alcohol safety laws are adhered to
- Other duties as assigned
- Have a hard working and professional attitude
- Have experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least one year experience in a leadership role
- Have a keen attention to detail
- Be responsible, honest, and trustworthy
- Display a spirit of cooperation, team work, and be able to multi-task
- Restaurant and banquet experience strongly desired
- Strong computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Serv Safe & TIPS certification strongly desired
