We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and eager to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients according to recipes and specifications. Assist chefs in cooking and assembling dishes while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management. Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of meals served. Participate in training sessions for new staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary techniques and food handling practices is beneficial. Experience in restaurant management or supervising staff is a plus for those looking to advance their careers. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively are advantageous. Knowledge of kitchen management principles, including inventory control, will enhance your application.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,200.00 per month
