Prepares meat, chicken and seafood to recipe standards
Measure and scale ingredients
Convert or divide formulas/recipes
Wash and cut vegetables
Identify and report inventory required for ordering
Verify that food products are fresh and safe for consumption
Maintain a clean, safe and organized cooking area
Perform other duties as required by management
Summary
We are hiring several full time and part time positions for the Food Preparer position. As a Food Preparer, you will be essential in ensuring the timely and efficient preparation of meals in our kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling to create high-quality dishes that meet our culinary standards. Your experience in the food industry and knife skills will be vital in maintaining a smooth workflow. Additionally, your premium skills in menu planning and dietary department experience will enhance our offerings, while your relevant skills in catering and serving will support our commitment to exceptional service. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
