We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented in an appealing manner before serving. Assist servers by providing timely support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet restaurant standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.87 - $16.78 per hour
