Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Food Service Team Member to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming for our 2025 season. As a Food Service Team Member, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and product in an efficient manner.Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.Life at Yellowstone General StoresLooking for a job you love? • Greet guests and provide details on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniques
• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages
• Perform clean-up duties to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment
• Properly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owed
• Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests
• Ability to place and remove plates, utensils and glassware; Perform duties including scooping ice cream and other physical restaurant tasks.
• Perform other duties assigned

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to provide excellent guest service
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
• Delight all guests by providing a friendly, positive experience; sharing your knowledge of Yellowstone and the surrounding areas
• Prior guest-facing experience in a fast paced work environment, preferred
• No experience or diploma required

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
