The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence.
In order to support the needs of these victims, as well as the \xe2\x80\x9cfirst response\xe2\x80\x9d requirements of Center for Hope\'s multidisciplinary team partners, this position will also provide, on a rotating, on-call basis, after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services.
The position will also conduct forensic interview training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master\'s degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
Valid Maryland LCSW or LMSW, LCPC or LGPC required, or Psychologist (valid Maryland licensure required)
Valid Driver\'s license
Ability to physically respond to on-call interview within 40 minutes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of child development
Knowledge of developmental disabilities
Experience in the field of child sexual abuse and trauma
Experience in the field of Intimate Partner Violence helpful
Understanding of cultural competency
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Rotating on-call after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services required
