Forklift Operator

The Hunt Valley Site has been in operation for 55 years and is home to some of Coty\'s most Iconic Color Cosmetics brands including COVERGIRL, Sally Hansen, Max Factor, Rimmel & Kylie Cosmetics. The site employs approximately 200 people and is located about 20 miles outside of Baltimore.

Coty is seeking an exceptional individual to join the team in located in Hunt Valley. As a Forklift Operator, you are responsible for the movement of materials within the facility.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Safely operate electric reach trucks (stand up forklifts), sit down forklifts, order pickers and electric and non-electric pallet jacks.
• Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
• Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Responsible for delivering materials to the production lines in a timely fashion.
• Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked and secured.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Moves hazardous materials.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers
• Utilizes radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory.
• Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport.
• Stacking, unstacking, and inspecting pallets of materials as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We\'d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
• Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• HS Degree or equivalent
• 3+ years related experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• The facility runs a 3-shift operation, core hours will be 2nd or 3rd but must be able to support all shifts as needed.
