Foodland IGA is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in our warehouse. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. Duties: - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials within the warehouse - Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials - Safely stack and store products in designated areas - Assist with inventory management by accurately recording movement of materials - Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to ensure smooth operations - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse setting - Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, such as clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and reach trucks - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures - Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders and follow instructions - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits:
