:JOBSUMMARY:The primary responsibility of the Fountain worker is to accurately handle cash register transactions and ensure guests are greeted cheerfully and prepare food & beverage per guest's requestsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:xc2xb7 Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff.xc2xb7 Engages in friendly conversations with guest whenever possible using the 10/5 Rule: 10 feet - make eye contact and smile, 5feet - greet and speak to guest.xc2xb7 Accurately inputs all orders into the POS terminal.xc2xb7 Accurately posts all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change; accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.xc2xb7 Makes drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines.xc2xb7 Delivers product to customer in timely manner.xc2xb7 Maintain high levels of customer service at all-times.xc2xb7 Thanks guests for their patronage.xc2xb7 Maintain appropriate level of stock items in area.xc2xb7 Assist in maintaining display cases and pastry par levels.xc2xb7 Keeps designated working area clean and organized and assists in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas, and condiment areas in accordance with established health and safety standards.xc2xb7 Assist all co-workers as needed. Assist Management in getting food product to customerxc2xb7 Assist in training new Fountain Counter Persons and new Management staff during their training period.xc2xb7 Responsible for periodic cleaning tasks assigned by Managementxc2xb7 Attend mandatory meetings and training classes as assigned.xc2xb7 Resolve guest complaints expeditiously and inform Management of the complaintsxc2xb7 Prepare or serve menu items, such as sandwiches or saladsxc2xb7 Basic food preparation and serviceQUALIFICATIONS:xc2xb7 Must have 6 months previous cash handling experience.xc2xb7 Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.xc2xb7 Must present a neat and professional appearance.xc2xb7 Work requires attention to detail and accuracy.xc2xb7 Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.xc2xb7 Work requires use of a computer and/or cash register.PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled undertime constraint.
