Job Description
The Press, a weekly newspaper that covers the cities of Champlin, Dayton, Maple Grove and Osseo, is looking for a freelance writer to cover governmental and school board meetings.
Candidates with journalism training, and/or previous writing and strong photography skills are encouraged to apply.
Applicants interested in covering governmental reporting must be available to attend two Monday evening city council meetings a month, one Tuesday evening meeting a month, and conduct follow-up interviews to prepare news reports.
