To be successful, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years\' military, law enforcement, or security experience, a valid driver\'s license, and a clean driving record. All qualified candidates must complete a mandatory 5-day paid training course in Renton.

Pay rate: $24.50/hour

Average hours per week: 40

Schedule availabilty:

• Full time, Saturday through Tuesday, 3rd shift (overnight)
• Full time, Wednesday through Saturday, 3rd shift (overnight)

What you will do

• Ensure the continual safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Maintain a physical presence, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity to include but not limited to interacting with transients to deter them from setting up shelters, from panhandling, and from sleeping in unauthorized areas.
• Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations, utilizing verbal deeseclation skills when required
• Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur at your location
• Positively contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere by providing superior customer care to anyone you interact with
• Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time
• Wearing body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, & first aid kit
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• High volume public interactions

You will be a great fit if you

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Have a minimum of 2 years\' Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• Are able to provide proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.
• Have a driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driving record
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
