Job Summary:
Drive a Transit, Para-transit or Motor-coach bus on campus, city streets, and state mandated highways.
Safely transport university students, staff/faculty and general public on a fixed scheduled bus route, on demand response or tour services.
Perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check.
Accumulate and record statistics for daily report. Perform all other responsibilities as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to stoop, bend or kneel to secure wheelchairs to fulfill ADA requirements and lift at least 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire a Class B Commercial license with \xe2\x80\x9cP\xe2\x80\x9d endorsement, cost of training for license to be covered by the department.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to stoop, bend, or kneel for ADA wheelchair securement and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Transit drivers: one year experience with a "P" endorsement driving a bus or like vehicle. Must not have an air brakes restriction and be at least 18 years of age or older.
Shuttle drivers: two years\' experience with a "P" endorsement driving a bus or like vehicle. Must not have an air brakes restriction and be at least 18 years of age or older.
