***Mostly Remote opportunity - possibly 100% if you are out of state, if you live in NJ then from 1 day per month to 1 day per week depending upon what your commute***

Our Client, a National Service Company, is adding a Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller to their team.

In this position the ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with duties such as:

• Journal entries; fixed asset & capitalizations, leases accounting (ASC 842), general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, audit schedules, year-end tax schedules, supporting director with accounting pronouncements and quarterly lender financial statements, annual financial statements and disclosures, risk and control maintenances and prepare recommendations for review, monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, collaborate with other shared services and business unit finance personnel, work with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit, assist with system maintenance and implementations, special projects, workflow process improvements.

Requirements Include:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Big 4 Accounting firm in Assurance or Technical Accounting Required - preferably with healthcare or pharmaceutical clients;
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation;
• 1+ years corporate accounting & reporting in the responsibility areas noted above - preferably within healthcare/pharmaceutical
