Gas Leak Survey Technicians are responsible for surveying pipelines and identifying the origin and severity of the leaks detected. As a Leak Survey Technician,you will inspect, locate, and evaluate gas leaks and document findings accurately for submission to the gas company. No experience is required, and we provide training. Responsibilities & Skills \xe2\x97\x8f Accurately detect and classify gas leaks during inspections
\xe2\x97\x8f Document Abnormal operating conditions ( AOC )
\xe2\x97\x8f Patrolling pipelines ( Walking )
\xe2\x97\x8f Above ground leak repair by tightening
\xe2\x97\x8f Leak investigation
\xe2\x97\x8f Atmospheric corrosion inspection of above ground natural gas structures
\xe2\x97\x8f Work efficiently and manage time properly with little supervision
\xe2\x97\x8f Be highly self-motivated
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
\xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to walk several miles per day in all types of weather
\xe2\x97\x8f Bending, crouching, and kneeling will be necessary
\xe2\x97\x8f Must be able to carry and lift 5-10 lbs of survey equipment
\xe2\x97\x8f Complete work in an efficient manner and meet all required completion dates
\xe2\x97\x8f Follow company guidelines.
\xe2\x97\x8f Adhere to safety procedures and attend monthly safety meeting ( Virtual accepted, Microsoft teams )
\xe2\x97\x8f Keep lines of communication open with managers
\xe2\x97\x8f Leak Survey Technicians may need to learn other related tasks that are not listed above \xe2\x97\x8f Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and registered and insured vehicle (proof of insurance required)

\xe2\x97\x8f DOT pre-employment and random drug screening required
