Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations in our fast-casual concept. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage a diverse team while ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and operational efficiency.

Duties



Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food preparation. Lead, train, and mentor staff in all areas of food service, including interviewing and onboarding new team members. Oversee kitchen management, including inventory control, food safety standards, and compliance with health regulations. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Coordinate banquet services and special events to maximize revenue opportunities. Handle cash management processes, including cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation. Utilize Toast POS system for tracking sales, managing reservations, and analyzing performance metrics. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Requirements



Proven experience in a General Manager or similar role within full-service restaurants. Strong knowledge of food service operations, culinary techniques, and event management. Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to identify top talent for various positions. Proficient in cash handling practices and financial management within a restaurant setting. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on building relationships with both staff and guests.
