We are currently hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our team at Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts. We have open positions in various departments, including General Practice. As a veterinary technician, you will have access to various training programs and online educational resources that can help enhance your technical skills and advance your professional development. Our General Practice department is comprised of 10 experienced General Practitioners and offers a promising career path that can lead to Emergency or Specialty medicine. Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital is required

• Candidates with an Associates or Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology are encouraged to apply

• Proficient in obtaining comprehensive patient histories, conducting vital measurements, and demonstrating proficient phlebotomy skills.

• Possesses a fundamental understanding of medications and their usage.

• Anesthesia experience is a plus but not required.

• Demonstrates effective and professional communication skills with clients.

• Highly self-motivated individual who possesses a strong desire to continuously learn and advance both professionally and technically.

• Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment and a steadfast dedication to fostering long-lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is essential.

• A strong commitment and enthusiasm for the job, as we highly appreciate our patients.

Job Type: Full-time - 36-40 hours, 4 DAY WORK WEEKS!

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Based on experience and skill. Ranges up to $36 per hour, even higher for experienced VTS!!!

Schedule:

(Day, Evenings until 9p)

• 8-12 hour shifts

• Weekends required - with rotations available
