Position Responsibilities

Provide assistance to members of the community who visit the office.
Answer and redirect phone calls from the general public.
Manage, prepare, and file incoming and outgoing Grand Jury/pre-charging subpoena requests.
Create and maintain spreadsheets as requested by Grand Jury Deputy Prosecutors and Investigators.
Print gallery photos for Marion County Prosecutor's Office staff, as requested.
Assist Grand Jurors throughout the grand jury process.
Work closely with court staff to ensure confidentiality of proceedings.
Assist with witness coordination during Grand Jury presentations.
Act as a liaison between Jurors and Deputy Prosecutors during deliberations.
Scan and/or copy investigator and prosecutor files to the share drive and/or Discovery.
Redact Discovery.
Manage the tracking of cases screened.
Assist with mail delivery within the office.
Send notices from the court to the assigned Deputy Prosecutor or Support Staff.

Qualifications
------------------
The ability to professionally greet and assist visitors of the Marion County Prosecutor's Office from the general public, law enforcement, and the media.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills.
The ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
A minimum of one year of receptionist or secretarial experience.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PCMS, and Outlook.
Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
Prior criminal justice experience preferred.
