Job Summary:

The keyholder's job is to manage the store on nights and weekends when sales are at their highest. The keyholder provides exceptional customer service and their primary responsibility is to sell and empower employees to do the same!

The Store Manager and / or Assistant Manager will provide lists of tasks to the keyholder. The keyholder is responsible for delegating this work to the employees and ensuring that the tasks get done.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for accurately and safely managing the money accumulated in the cash register from store sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

o Customer Service & Selling!!!

o Managing Customer & Employee & Technical (e.g., POS) Issues

o Leading by Example

o Delegating & Executing Tasks Lists, including but not limited to:

o Cleaning the Store, Break Room, Storage Room, etc.

o Organizing

o Re-Merchandising Shelves and Endcaps

o Receiving Products and Stocking Store Shelves

o Moving Products from Storage to the Showroom

o Conducting Inventory, as needed

o Preparing the Store for Opening the Next Day using a Check List

o Opening and Closing Registers / Managing End of Day Reporting & Bank Deposits

o Training New Employees

o Communicating Issues to the Store Manager

Job Requirements:

Must be able to demonstrate time management skills.

Must be able to demonstrate problem solving.

Must be able to effectively communicate issues with the Store Manager

Must be self-motivated.

Must be highly skilled at using the Point-of-Sale system.

Must be able to lift 20 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of the store and how it works

Product knowledge (or how to find the answer)

Polite assertiveness (for directing the work of others)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
