Description: JOB SUMMARY The main duty of a Grill Expo is to ensure that dine-in and take-out orders are prepared and served correctly and in a timely manner. This involves effective communication and coordination with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure food quality and accuracy. Grill Expos should possess exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide customers with an enjoyable dining experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
- Communicate orders, changes, and modifications with FOH and BOH staff
- Read printed tickets and prepare garnish and items for sale
- Inspect dishes and tickets for modifications and accuracy
- Ensure the cleanliness of the expo stations throughout the shift
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
- Other duties as assigned
- Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
- Lift and carry 30+ lbs
- Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
