We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant for a assisted living facility to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist with answering phone calls from doctor offices, offer companionship, assist patients with scheduling appointments, and ect.

Duties:

- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily tasks and activities

- Answering phone calls from doctor offices

- Assist patients with scheduling appointments

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and organizing living spaces

- Drive individuals to appointments or outings

- Drive to supermarkets to get grocery for patients

Qualifications:

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is (preferred)

- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license

- Proficient in caregiving techniques and providing emotional support (preferred)

- Capability to lift and assist with mobility needs if needed

- Must be comfortable around individuals with disabilities

- Must be available to answer phone calls 24/7
