POSITION SUMMARY:The Guest Service Representative is the first line of interaction for the guests at Running Aces.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the first line interaction with guests of Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack on a daily basis.
Responsible for providing excellent Customer Service by having a "Can Do" and friendly attitude.
Answering all incoming phone calls with a pleasant and professional manner, answering questions or directing calls accordingly.
Monitor all materials that are available to the public to ensure that information is current and monitor the supply for ongoing needs and inventory.
Assist guests with concerns, questions, and inquiries.
Get to know our top players and guests and build rapport with them daily.
Sale of merchandise, general medications and other supplies. Check for valid identification with every tobacco purchase.
Daily review of the merchandise presentation and inventory to ensure there are adequate items for sale to the guests.
Take pride of ownership of the Aces Rewards Front Desk by keeping a clean and tidy work environment.
Monitoring the Front Desk and Lobby to ensure the area is clean and kept up.
Understanding the resources available to you as a Team Member.
Other job duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate computers, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and word processing.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have cash handling and basic math skills.
Knowledge of Bravo and Micros systems a plus, but not a requirement.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of company policy and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including nights, weekends and holidays both alone and with others.
Must possess strong organizational, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, strong computer skills and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to work in an environment that includes a casino floor, which can by noisy and have numerous guests.
Work may include numerous interruptions.
Ability to handle frequent sitting, walking and standing.
