Small Town Hospitality owns and operates nine unique lodging properties - one located in Ontario, one in Manitoba, one in Saskatchewan, three in Minnesota, one in Illinois, one in Nebraska and one in Wisconsin. We are looking to add a Hotel Guest Service Assistant based from International Falls, MN. This person will primarily answer calls to assist guests and complete reservations for all nine properties (calls are routed to a central line). The position pay starts at $17.00/hour and shifts run from 4:00PM to midnight with some day shifts depending on coverage. The position is a home-based position for the right candidate. Traits & Skills required to be successful in this role: - Well-spoken and ability to communicate effectively. - Ability to use computers, type quickly and learn hotel reservations program. - Ability to "smile" through the phone when speaking with guests. - Ability to handle multiple calls at a time and remain calm and professional. - Ability to patiently answer questions and be a positive resource to guests. - Willingness to confidently present lodging properties and secure bookings from each call. - Previous hotel experience is preferred. - Ability to work very independently but with the support of the office manager and property ownership. - Ability to complete general administrative tasks. ---- If you have a passion for customer service, are very organized and think you can make a positive impact on guests (over the phone/email), please reach out.
