The Children\'s Museum has an opening for a Guest Services Associate to ensure a positive guest experience while welcoming and checking-in all guests to the Museum. It is the role of the Guest Services Associate to support all admissions, retail, and cafe, operations while creating a presentable, welcoming environment through exemplary guest service.
Position Specifications: Part time, 16 hours a week - Friday and Sundays required
Rate: $18.50/hour (additional $1/hour for Bilingual proficiency)

Responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Greet and welcome adults and children, engage in conversation, and accurately answer guest questions regarding all aspects of the Museum
\xc2\xb7 Maintain clean, safe and inviting environments in all Museum spaces
\xc2\xb7 Actively address guest feedback and work to improve overall guest experience
\xc2\xb7 Maintain current knowledge of all programming, special events, and exhibits schedules
\xc2\xb7 Follow opening and closing procedures for effective and accurate museum operations
\xc2\xb7 Operate and maintain knowledge of Museum\'s point of sale system
\xc2\xb7 Support membership sales, including active selling, taking payment, and data entry
\xc2\xb7 Support cafe and gift shop including cashiering, stocking, cleaning, merchandising and food safety
\xc2\xb7 Assist in training new employees when assigned
\xc2\xb7 Answer and direct incoming calls, as necessary
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with and support volunteers throughout the Museum
\xc2\xb7 Support floor operations and programming initiatives as necessary

\xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain a clean work environment
\xc2\xb7 High energy and interest in engaging with visitors while moving throughout the Museum
\xc2\xb7 Fluent English proficiency: writing, reading and speaking skills. Bilingual Spanish preferred

\xc2\xb7 High School diploma or equivalent required
\xc2\xb7 Must pass criminal background check and Museum screening process.
