Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs. Conduct consultations with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and products. Perform additional services such as facials, body waxing, makeup application, and esthetic laser treatments as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment. Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for home maintenance. Assist in lesson planning and adult education sessions for aspiring stylists if required. Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to hair and skin care. Experience in various hair services including barbering, hair coloring, facials, body waxing, and makeup application is preferred. Ability to create lesson plans for training sessions is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. A passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
