The Production Armor is responsible for a variety of different tasks in the production armor goods.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand and interpret work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of armor goods according to established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Follow established procedures including tapping, counting, weighting and assembling material in specified quantities.
  • Review products during the process for any product defects and immediately report defects to supervisor.
  • Operates machinery proficiently and in a safe manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
  • Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques of different equipment and tools.
  • Maintain a positive team work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management.
Qualifications:
  • Working experience in a fast-pace warehouse/manufacturing environment with the ability to multitask. Required to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on attitude.
  • Organized and can prioritize cutting according to needs of production team.
  • Good knowledge of the usage of various cutting tools.
  • Experienced in working with different raw materials: soft fabrics, hard plastics.
  • Safely and efficiently handle and move raw materials weighing up to 50 lbs to designated areas
  • Ability to listen, learn and communicate with supervisor and coworkers.
  • Ability to manage daily tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willingness to be a team player, dedicated to quality work and maintaining an excellent attendance record
  • Ability to listen, learn and communicate with supervisor and coworkers.
  • Ability to take direction and come back with solid results/solutions
  • Ability to manage daily tasks and meet time-lines
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time
  • Requires frequent walking, bending, reaching above shoulder level, and balancing.
  • Requires occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crouching, or crawling.
  • Requires occasional lifting, push, pulling and carrying weight up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
