Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Engineer to design, develop and implement real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities. Tasks for this position will include the definition of HWIL architecture, development of IFS real-time models and definition of interfaces to HWIL HW. The HWIL Engineer will be involved in the design, development and testing of SW, FW and HW and the integration of stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility. The HWIL Engineer will support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs. The HWIL Engineer will also be involved in the integration, test, verification and validation of the system and various subsystems.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in software engineering and software development

-Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team

-Linux

-MATLAB and C / C++

-Experience Integrating HW and SW

-Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

-Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams

-Experience integrating closed loop systems

-Experience with GitLab

-Experience working with HWIL systems

-Experience using configuration management systems such as Git

-Experience with Embedded Software

-Experience working with RF SoC\'s

-Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

-Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis

-Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.

-HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired.

-Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
