This role is fully remote in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, or Washington.

About the Job:

ATG is looking for a seasoned Payments expert to lead the company\xe2\x80\x99s payments strategy, from vendor relationship management to the end-user product experience. You will be responsible for the consumer payments experience in dozens of countries across the globe and on multiple, separate, product platforms.

Your goal is to offer the consumers as many payment channels as make sense for each country the company operates. With the help of Business Analysts and Business Managers you will advise the Product teams how to design, build and maintain low friction purchase flows within the products.

You will also be leading our efforts to offer a wide array of low cost and efficient means to pay our vendors. The payout ecosystem is a challenging and ever-changing environment, and your quick action may be needed in order to pivot and avoid business disruption.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will need to have strong analytical skills and a desire to truly understand what is happening at every layer in the payment\xe2\x80\x99s ecosystem, from the purchase page to the settlement stage, from the payment invoice to the end user last mile. We are a multi-currency functional company with sales occurring in nearly a dozen currencies. Your position is instrumental with assisting the company in reducing operational losses from foreign currency settlement.

You will work together with, and report to, the Director of Business Operations to form and implement the payments strategy of the future. You may be required to form a small team to help realize these goals.

You will periodically communicate to Leadership and Product the state of not just our Payments operation but also industry wide Payments trends. This presentation may be virtual, in person, or both, and include data, trends, and potential problem areas.

A moderate amount of yearly travel is required in order to maintain vendor relationships as well as to build new relationships.

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Minimum 7 years in a Payments focused role
  • College or University degree with a Business or Technical focus
  • Minimum 4 years in a people management role
  • Solid understanding of compliance with regards to Credit Card Acquiring
  • Solid understanding of the Credit Card networks; Acquiring, Auth, 3DS, Settlement, etc.
  • Experience working with 3DS 2.X
  • A general understanding of Alternative Payment Methods (APM), and operational e-commerce experience in one or more APMs
  • Experience working in a multi-currency sale environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams across the globe
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $140K-$190K. This position will also include a profit sharing that is dependent on a variety of factors.
