Position Summary The HIM Data Integrity Analyst is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective resolution of documentation errors in the medical record. The incumbent corrects medical records documentation errors; performs Master Patient Index (MPI) maintenance; merges/unmerges medical records (patient duplicates and overlays); moves incorrectly assigned encounters to the appropriate patient record; monitors appropriate queues and systems to identify, resolve, communicate the documentation error and validates the medical record documentation error has been resolved or remediated.

Requirements

  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Health Care preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in HIM required; graduation from a RHIT program and/or RHIT credentials may be considered in lieu of experience
  • One (1) year of experience with Epic and the Epic Chart Correction Toolkit

Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $17.70 - $25.48 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant\xe2\x80\x99s years of experience align.
