Location: 7501 College Blvd. Ste. 250, Overland Park, KS \xe2\x80\x93 In the office only
Hourly Pay: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience

Job Summary:
This is a full-time position within the Responsive Centers office in Overland Park, KS. The Office Receptionist will be responsible for providing professional assistance to Responsive Centers clinical staff members and patients to timely and efficiently and manage clinical staff schedules. This position would be accountable for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front desk to ensure quality patient care. The Office Receptionist will also assist in the collection of patient information, insurance cards, and payment due at the time of service.

Essential Functions:

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, cancel, and change patient appointments.
• Check patients in.
• Collect copays and balances due .
• Upload documents into EMR.
• Make reminder calls.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Medical office experience
• Customer Service experience.
• Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Ability to prioritize; handle multiple tasks; and work independently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good phone voice with a professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Must maintain confidentiality and follow HIPPA laws.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED or higher education.
