Health Program ManagerDSPD Fiscal Operations
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), within the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD) is seeking a Health Program Manager to oversee and monitor the Caregiver Compensation Program. Incumbent will work with the division leadership team to address and refine policy and procedures as the program is implemented.They will recommend, advocate and implement any changes to the program as needed on an ongoing basis. They will assist families of individuals in services and support coordinators by answering questions about the program and how to apply. They will provide assistance in resolving any problems surrounding caregiver compensation including coordination with fiscal management agencies and providers. • Develops, evaluates, or reviews plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities; assesses feasibility of proposals;
• Recommends, advocates and/or implements, new and or changes to existing policies and procedures, laws or regulations;
• Provides assistance in resolving problems; approves system changes and establishes project priorities;
• Conducts or participates in day-to-day development and monitoring of program;
• Analyzes, summaries and reviews financial data, interprets results and/or makes recommendations;
• Design and enhance fiscal protocols.

• Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
• Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
