MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be eligible or hold
State of Delaware Certification as a School Counselor
Master's degree preferred; School Counseling; Certified School Counselor or experience as a school-based mental health provider
A
minimum of 2 yrs. counseling experience
, school counseling experience is strongly preferred
Experience with and commitment to working with high school-aged children in Grades 9-12, including an understanding of their developmental, social, and academic needs
Proficient in Technology, Microsoft Office Applications, Children's Educational Software, etc.
Demonstrates sensitivity to diversity issues impacting various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups
Shows evidence of knowledge regarding practices known to be effective in promoting student learning to increase student achievement
Regular attendance is an essential function of the position
A shared understanding of the mission of the School and a demonstrated commitment to the core principles of equity, inclusion, and access
