Best Homecare and Staffing is looking to add 1 part time Supervising RN to our growing Home care team. This individual must have a current Idaho State RN license, CPR, Current driver's license, computer skills, and a positive attitude. This position is flexible . Best HomeCare & Staffing nurse will help keep clients healthy and improve the quality of their lives. You are required to engage with the clients, their family members, & caregivers to support the overall well-being of the clients. You will advocate for the client's needs other providers. While remembering that communication is key to everyone's success while in your care.

Provide professional and quality supervisory nursing practice in the care of clients, caregivers, and nurses.
Making and returning all phone calls in a timely manner.

Maintain client & employee confidentiality at all times.

Perform admits with all necessary paperwork & returning completed admit to the administrative assistant.

Maintain all care plans which includes:

o Sending off to other agencies for the clients care plan. The RN will make sure that it is received within a (2) week time period. If not received you will contact H & W to retain a copy of the care plan.

o Generate any care plans that are required.

o Make visits to the clients to place the care plan within 30 days, ensuring that the care plan is signed by the client.

o Maximum time of 60 minutes home visit.

o Filing the old care plan away in the proper place of the previous year in the dead files.

Maintaining the client's binders in the home.

All admit paperwork is in the front of the binder.

EVV notes are in order.

The nurse will look over all caregiver documentation on the Axis Care system that is provided weekly by employees.

Maintain all care plans and modifications.

Completing modification to increase or decrease hours in a timely manner.

Completing documentation in the system to ensure we are complaint with H & W.

Checking in with administrator for any unforeseen paperwork.

Making calls to RN Reviewers about unreceived paperwork.

Making monthly visits to the clients, or as needed. Completion of all necessary paperwork for the visit in a timely manner. Once back at the office print visits and QA visits and file them in their proper place in the clients file.

When making a visit to any client quality assurance needs to be completed with every visit made no matter the duration between visits. Visits should take no longer than 45 minutes per client.

Making and returning all phone calls in a timely manner.

Provide training to all employees caregiver's, C.N.A.'s, and L.P.N's.

Provide training & education on the EVV system when needed.

Maintaining all Training Matrix's in caregivers files.

Making sure that every caregiver is properly trained in the field and feels comfortable completing ADL's with that client.

Providing hands on experience for caregivers with specific needs to complete their training matrix.

Go over care plans with employee's to ensure that they understand what is expected of them on a daily basis while in the client's home.

Maintain monthly and quarterly check up's on all L.P.N.'s.

Maintain quarterly nursing visits on all clients that are children.

The ability to prioritize duties and delegate responsibilities as needed.

The ability to use protective equipment and respond to emergency situations.

Must keep cell phone with you at all times

Must answer the cell phone when the need arises. Best HomeCare has a 5 minute turnaround time to return phone calls.

Maintain all contacts in your phone.

Maintain security on your work phone.

File all paperwork that is generated weekly.

Adhere to all the agency's policies and procedures & be able to provide information when asked by others.

Willing to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
