Additional Information About the RoleBJC Medical Group is seeking BE/BC Internal or Family Medicine Physicians to join our friendly and experienced Hospitalist team in Belleville, IL, located just 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 212-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital offering emergency and critical care services as well as medical and surgical along with a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services.Position Highlights:

• SWING SHIFT - 1 PM to 1 AM (Primarily Admissions)
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Full-time requirement of 182-shifts per year with opportunity to pick up additional shifts, if interested
• ICU with 24/7 Intensivist coverage at main campus
• Substantial APP support and expansion
• No procedures or codes required, but option if desired.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $342,000 base salary
• Quality bonus up to $25,000
• $12,000 tenure bonus/year
• Sign-on bonus

Communicates with staff, patients, and families.Responsibilities * Manages the medical care of assigned patients.

• Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
• Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient\'s medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
• Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
