We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing waitlists, and coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure efficient service. Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
Escort guests to their assigned tables and ensure they are comfortable
Manage guest reservations and maintain an organized seating system
Answer phone calls, take and relay messages, and provide accurate information to guests
Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely service
Maintain a clean and presentable host stand and lobby area
Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service at all times
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Collaborate with the management team to improve guest experience and implement any required changes
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in customer service or hospitality industry is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
Professional appearance and demeanor
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus
