Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring exceptional service throughout their visit.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart efficiently
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to enhance the guest experience
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in guest services within a restaurant or hotel setting
- Proficiency in POS systems, preferably Toast POS
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service operations
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Ability to handle guest relations professionally
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
