HOST/HOSTESS

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Host/Hostess who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Host/Hostess have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

\xc2\xb7 Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.

\xc2\xb7 Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.

\xc2\xb7 Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.

\xc2\xb7 Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest\xe2\x80\x99s name consistently.

\xc2\xb7 Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.

WHAT TO BRING

\xc2\xb7 Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage

\xc2\xb7 Six to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.

\xc2\xb7 Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
