Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns regarding menu items. Support the team in maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality. Help with restocking supplies as needed throughout the shift.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help team members as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
