Candidate must be have computer knowledge, hotel clerk will often use computers to check in guests, create invoices and manage online bookings.
Communication: Must have strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills, individual must be able to listen and recognize guest needs. You will also use nonverbal skills to identify a guests satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their stay.
Customer service: Customer service skills are a requirement for this position. Front desk clerks work with guests when checking in, checking out and when guests request information from the front desk.
Problems solving is a must. Furthermore, we all work as a team, there will be sometimes you will have to roll up your sleeves and help.
Front Desk attendants help with the house laundry washing, drying and folding of all guest room linen.
