ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

\xc2\xb7 Ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.

\xc2\xb7 Ensures four star service standards through the flawless execution of all assigned duties.

\xc2\xb7 Is responsible for the removal of all foreign materials from linens and uniforms.

\xc2\xb7 Disposes of foreign materials in accordance with established procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Sorts soiled laundry based on type and degree of soil.

\xc2\xb7 Inspects all linen for quality, checking for stains, wrinkles, and overall fabric condition/appearance.

\xc2\xb7 Hangs garments on racks.

\xc2\xb7 Pulls/pushes full and empty laundry carts.

\xc2\xb7 Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.

\xc2\xb7 Follows all established safety and security guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah\'s and encourages others to do the same.

\xc2\xb7 Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Completes all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

\xc2\xb7 High School diploma or equivalent required.

\xc2\xb7 Prior experience preferred but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Must be a team player.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to stand for long periods of time.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.

JOB DEMANDS:

\xc2\xb7 Lifts up to a maximum of 50 pounds and frequently lifts and/or carries up to 25 pounds.

\xc2\xb7 Position requires 35% standing, 5% sitting, 60% walking.

\xc2\xb7 Requires frequent kneeling, stooping, reaching over head and very frequent bending, pushing, twisting and climbing.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to read, understand and tolerate the usage of cleaning chemicals.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.

\xc2\xb7 Must have the manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and machines.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

\xc2\xb7 Requires the ability to respond to speech, touch, smell, aural and visual cues.
