We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and physical management of the Laundry, and housekeeping department's employees and equipment in a way that maximizes cleanliness and order throughout the building and assures laundry services for both resident clothing and facility linen are maintained.

Housekeeping Supervisors must have the following:


A high school diploma is preferred. Prior long-term care facility experience required. Some business and personnel management training is also preferred. Knowledge of OSHA and IDPH Regulations relevant to housekeeping and laundry departments.

As a skilled, driven Housekeeping Supervisor, you will:


Obtain staff by recruiting, interviewing, and verifying references in order to employ the number and kinds of personnel needed. Supervise scheduling of sufficient staff to ensure uninterrupted service to the facility and residents at all times. Supervise purchasing, storage, and distribution of all housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry supplies. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Administrator. Work as weekend Supervisor as part of the Department Head monthly rotation. Maintain all housekeeping, and laundry equipment in operating condition.
