: Provide administrative support within the Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Answer incomingtelephonecalls, assist caller, route to appropriate party, or take messages for follow-up.
Answer routineinquiriesfrominternal and external sources on available positions, policies, and programs.
Assist HR functional areas (employment, benefits, training, safety) as required:
o assist applicants through application process,
o schedule candidates for licensing,
o schedule new hires for orientation, and
o assist team members with Casino Essentials and Ease programs. Assist with prep, set-up, and execution of special events.
Performclerical functions and prepare reports, as assigned
Maintainaccurate and up to date personnel files
Accurately input dataintoHRMS ona dailybasis.
Performother duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
1. Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent administrative work experience of 3+ years
2. Work Experience: Two (2) years clerical experience in an office required
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Familiarity with HR database systems preferred.
b. Able to type 40 wpm.
c. Possess solid communication skills (written/verbal).
4. Be at least 18 years of age.
5. Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
6. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
