Full Time | Permanent

Salary Range: $3,974 - $5,341 Monthly

This recruitment will fill two roles:

One (1) full time remote role which may include travel throughout the state

One (1) hybrid position which will also include in-office work at the Clallam Bay Corrections Center when needed

The goal of this position is to provide first level professional human resource support to Senior Recruiters, and to assist in the recruitment and selection process.

A Human Resource Recruitment Navigator is a highly motivated and deeply committed professional who is excited to utilize their Human Resource (HR) talent acquisition experience to assist in coordinating recruitment efforts throughout the agency. The HR Recruitment Navigator is tasked with independently prioritizing, planning, coordinating, and implementing duties to ensure the important components of the recruitment process are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

This position may be the initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for the collection and recording of appropriate documentation and electronic records and files for the recruitment and selection processes.

Duties

As a Human Resource Recruitment Navigator, some of your duties will include:
  • Stakeholder Management to include:
  • Providing professional level HR support to candidates, recruiters, staff, and the HR community
  • Creating and manage communication by providing updates to candidates regarding the process or status of application
  • Recruitment preparation, facilitation, and coordination of the selection process which could include:
  • Drafting and publishing recruitment bulletins (NEOGOV); creating requisitions and enter job postings, exam questions, and exam plans
  • Inviting potential candidates to apply to positions; moving candidates through the evaluation steps, review applications/resumes for qualifications and place candidates on eligible lists including screening out unqualified candidates
  • Tracking the hiring process including:
  • Monitoring all current open recruitments and provide guidance and assistance to Appointing Authority and local HR to maintain hiring process timelines
  • Referring qualified candidates to subject matter experts (SME) at the facility
  • Recruitment Marketing and Outreach which could include:
  • Posting marketing materials to provide comprehensive outreach to effectively build pools of diverse and qualified candidates
  • Maintaining and assisting with outreach efforts on different channels such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Craigslist, WorkSource, or other forms of social media platforms
  • Source qualified candidates from various job seeker platforms and connect with interested individuals to process into NEOGOV
  • Data Management
  • Other work activities as assigned
Qualifications

What we need (required qualifications):
  • High school diploma or equivalent
AND
  • At least two (2) years of office experience with exposure to employee recruitment, assessment, and selection
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Human resources (HR) functions - specifically focused on recruiting and selection.
  • Customer service to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Applicant tracking system for recruitment and selection process.
  • Human resources reporting and data collection.
  • Communication, marketing, and outreach.
  • Strong computer application skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook and calendar.
What will make your application stand out (preferred qualifications):
  • Bachelor\'s degree with a focus on business, human resources, healthcare, social or organizational behavioral science, OR comparable education and/or experience.
  • The ability to develop and post creative marketing for recruitment-- utilizing different platforms and social media.
  • Experience with full life cycle recruiting for a broad range of positions.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency using MS SharePoint.
  • 6 months or more experience using NEOGOV.
  • Understanding of laws, policies, and best practices as it pertains to human resources.

Telework Details

This position may be allocated for telework. Work may be performed from your home or another offsite location within the state of Washington using a reliable internet or cellular hotspot service at that time. Employees are expected to perform assigned duties in a safe manner, to take proper care all state-issued equipment, and maintain confidentiality of all information in possession while working offsite. Employees will be required to commute to a Department of Corrections facility or field office as business requires, to potentially include components of the onboarding process. Some offices will have a \xe2\x80\x9cdrop in\xe2\x80\x9d area available, however, a dedicated workspace within a DOC facility will not be provided.
