Performs clerical functions that support employees and positively affects HR programs and strategies. Assists with the coordination of training scheduling and documents required on the job training.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED is required. A.A. Degree in Office Automation, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
Two (2) years of office experience demonstrating word processing, keyboarding (>55 wpm), Microsoft skills at the intermediate level or higher, i.e.Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and records maintenance. Experience with "ADP Workforce Now" is preferred.
Knowledge of training requirements related to licensing, accreditation and certification requirements, and related governing rules preferred.
Ability to demonstrate customer service in a professional manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with pre-employment background checks, secures mandatory documents
Assist with new hire onboarding process.
Assembles, updates and properly stores employee files and HR data base.
Adheres to confidentiality rules regarding the handling of sensitive information.
Prepares applicable photo identification badges for employees, visitors, etc.
* Proficiency in verbal and written communication.Handles incoming calls and redirects to appropriate staff.
