Your Role on Our Team:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for delivering a positively impactful partnership to our people, within the business units they support. As a HRBP at Milwaukee, you will be a critical component in providing an energizing and engaging work environment. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Employee Retention: Consult with business leaders and peers to develop employee engagement and retention strategies specific to the business you support.

Workforce Planning: Lead the internal talent mobility process to align the workforce to strategic business needs. This includes forecasting hiring based on business needs, providing internal candidate assessments, feedback, and compensation recommendations.

Talent Management:

  • Leverage the Milwaukee Talent Review cycle to effectively coach leadership on the appropriate actions and outcomes to enable employee and organizational growth by identifying high potentials, talent readiness, and retention risks as well as facilitate career pathing and succession planning conversations.
  • Partner with leadership to provide an employee oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes respect, empowerment, quality, productivity, and development.
  • Oversee the annual performance review and merit process.


Change Management: Collaborate with business unit leaders to assist in supporting organizational change, consulting with our COEs as necessary (e.g. growth plans, restructures, new leader assimilations, high performing team assessments).

Employee Relations:
  • Maintain positive employee relations by creating a responsive, open environment, where employee feel safe to speak up.
  • Identify and monitor the organization\'s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company\'s goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
  • Keep the leadership team informed of issues that could jeopardize the achievement of company goals. Partner with leadership to develop a plan to improve any concerns.
  • Manage the off-boarding process, addressing any non-compete concerns and exit survey feedback.
  • Conduct and document internal investigations into employee complaints.


Compliance: Ensure compliance within the organization for regulatory activities by addressing employee issues timely and working with management to ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed uniformly across the organization(s) you support.

Compensation: Responsible for ensuring compensation is appropriate for the jobs within the business unit(s) you support.

Talent Metrics and Analytics: Monitor and consult on KPIs, providing data-centric thought partnership to leaders.

Internal Mobility: Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing needs and recruiting strategy to fill open positions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring with you:
  • This position requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field; OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 year of progressive Human Resources experience is preferred, a minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience within a corporate environment is required.
  • Up-to- date knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the leadership team.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment and diplomacy.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications necessary.


Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
  • Certifications such as: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP
  • MBA or Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Human Resource Management
